  1. Well I thought I had to post an invention and I thought of one - we camp quite a bit as a family and the noise of tent zippers is quite annoying, it is almost impossible to get in or out of one's tent without everyone camping within cooee of knowing as the zip OPEN zip CLOSED sound shatters the quiet of night. So...... I would like to invent the "silent zipper" - what a ripper!!(pun unintended)

    1. Love your thinking Anonymous. Although I think another solution is to stop going camping...!

  2. Thank you so much. I'm very excited that I won even if it was by default as the only comment.

    2. The tickets arrived yesterday and my partner and I went to see it today. It was great fun. There was great comedy in the clash of the condition being treated and Victorian prudishness. It's a movie I normally wouldn't see in the cinema and potentially would have overlooked on video. Thank you for a very enjoyable outing.

    3. So glad you enjoyed the film. It's lovely to be able to give something away to readers (and find out who you are!)

  3. I wish I'd invented Facebook. I'd be ludicrously rich, and I could do a much better job of running it. I wouldn't foist unwanted 'improvements' on people all the time, especially ones that invade their privacy. I'd be much harder on hate groups and nastiness, while treating things like breast feeding as natural and perfectly OK. And I'd treat my members as my customers, not my product to be sold on to advertisers. Sure, I'd make less money, but ludicrously rich would be enough for me.
Now, who would play me in the movie? Hmmm
